Lovely to meet you.
I’ve been crafting clear, intuitive, and user-centered content as an in-house creative for more than a decade—everything from UX microcopy to strategic marketing messaging to hold-it-in-your-hands product packaging.
To put it simply, I write copy that fits, and copy that helps.
I love the puzzle of translating complex ideas into accessible and welcoming language, making the user experience a little more friendly, and helping the real person on the other side of the screen.
Throughout my career, I’ve learned that being a “great writer” really means being a “great question asker” and “great empathizer.” I’ve also learned that often the best copy is…no copy.
When I’m not working, I’m probably listening to ‘90s country, thrifting vintage fabric, reading a book about plants or myths, or browsing vacation rentals online and imagining my brand new life in a farm cottage/tiny house/London flat. Or I’m (yet again) painting my office or rearranging the furniture in the living room because it just isn’t quite right. Yet.
Oh, and my two dogs (Tammy and Tater) are my sun and moon, so I’m probably also just hanging out with them.
The thing I really love about this job? It’s collaborating and connecting with other writers, designers, marketers, and product teams to solve those spiky, gnarly, clunky, impossible-seeming problems.
If you think we might work well together on your next project, let’s chat :) I can’t wait to hear all about it.
